'Sarah Piantadosi is a really cool girl who takes studied, intelligent, natural, unpretentious photographs that mirror some kind of reality.
I really enjoyed working with her and would love to work with her again in the future. She’s great.' (Bobby Gillespie, Musician and Singer-Songwriter)
Sarah Piantadosi is a London-based photographer working across fashion, portraiture, and advertising. Inspired by the particular energy of musicians, actors and artists, Sarah’s ability to translate this into her fashion work means she is sought after by brands and magazines alike.
Sarah regularly contributes to London titles Dazed, AnOther Magazine, Another Man and Re-Edition as well as international magazines including Interview, American Vogue and W Magazine.
She has strong creative dialogues with stylists Katy England, Ellie Grace Cumming & Alister Mackie and has shot campaigns for Alexander McQueen McQ, Barneys New York, Hugo Boss, Kent & Curwen, Rockins, Selfridges, Saks Fifth Avenue and Topman.
Sarah's independently published zines are cult. Milk Jagger explores the alter ego of drummer Michael B. Wallace, whilst The City is Abstract presents a raw, uncompromising head-to-head of Reba Maybury & Emil Bognar-Nasdor, two subcultural figures from opposing sides of the Atlantic.
In 2016 Sarah directed a music video for Wild Daughter, shooting on Super8. She has also directed two short films for SHOWstudio, Is My Mind for Me and The Misfortune of Desire.
